Deadless

DeadlessI was intrigued by a brand called Deadless, and I accepted an offer to try its sparkling adaptogenic elixirs that were created as a healthier way to party.

What that means is that these drinks are made with adaptogens (which promote balance) and nootropics (which fuel clarity and focus) such as Ashwagandha and Lion’s Mane. Each 12 oz. can ($15.99 for a 4-pack) has 15 calories, 2 g. of carbs and 50 mg. of caffeine (equivalent to a cup of coffee).

I thought the Deadless drinks were refreshing and more flavorful than standard sparkling waters. It comes in three flavors with fun names and slick-looking cans:

  • Evil Island is a tropical treat, as it is made with pineapple, mango, pink guava and papaya juice concentrates.
  • You can taste the grapefruit flavor with no tartness or sourness in the Citrus Sinner.
  • Bloody Berry leans more toward the raspberry flavor over the cherry but is much milder than expected.

Of course, you can mix Deadless with alcohol, and they go well with vodka. The company recommends not having more than four in a 24-hour period.

You can purchase Deadless on its website.
