The Pickle Jar Cafe started as a food truck and now has a restaurant located downtown in a spot that has seen quite a bit of turnover. Hopefully, the two versions of the business can support each other. (more…)

Point Burger Bar should consider using the slogan for Buffalo Wild Wings with a slight change: Burgers. Beer. Sports. Here, you have plenty of bar area to have a drink (including 30 beers on tap) and watch the game, and you have lots and lots of burger choices. (more…)

I’ve enjoyed my previous visits to Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, having gone to the waterpark, skied, received a massage and of course, enjoyed fine dining at its chophouse. Thus, I happily accepted an invitation to return to meet the new executive chef, Nelly Buleje, and sample his creations. (more…)
