Some Honey

Some HoneyI know Wisconsin is home to a few honey products, and I was excited to accept an offer to review one from the Madison-area called Some Honey.

Some Honey is the retail line of honey from Pure Sweet Honey, which has a facility in Verona and was acquired by Virginia-based ICI Foods in 2023.

Pure Sweet Honey’s plant and procedures are SQF, Non-GMO Project, organic and Kosher certified. In addition, the manufacturer follows sustainable harvesting practices when collecting its honey products.

I loved the wildflower honey ($9.99 for 16 oz., $15.99 for 32 oz, $23.99 for 80 oz), as it had the right amount of sweetness and a slight floral taste. Since the honey is produced from the nectar that bees have collected from several different flower sources, you should note that each batch will be slightly different from one another.

Other varieties include orange blossom, cranberry and buckwheat. Some Honey also sells agave ($4.99 for 16 oz.) and single-serve honey spoons ($8.99 for 10).

In the Madison area, you can purchase Some Honey at Willy Street Co-op and at its facility in Verona.
