• A Madison Symphony Christmas took place Dec. 1-3 at the Overture Center. Tickets are $15-$102.
• The Capitol Christmas Pageant takes place Dec. 3 at the State Capitol. Free to attend.
• “All is Calm” runs Dec. 7-17 at the Overture Center. Tickets are $25-$38.
• “A Christmas Carol” runs Dec. 9-23 at the Overture Center. Tickets are $49-$68.
• “The Nutcracker” runs Dec. 15-24 at the Overture Center. Tickets are $19-$95.

Holiday Parties and Celebrations

• The Magnet Winter Charity Fete is held Dec. 8 at the Monona Terrace. Tickets are $75-$100.
• The Elvehjem Holiday in the Park takes place Dec. 9 at Elvehjem Park. Free to attend.
• An Ugly Sweater Party is held Dec. 9 at State Line Distillery. Free to attend.
• An Ugly Sweater Party is held Dec. 16 at all Nitty Gritty locations. Free to attend.

Holiday Races and Bar Crawls

• The Ugly Sweater Lights Run takes place Dec. 4 at Fleet Feet. Free to participate.
• 12 Bars of Christmas takes place Dec. 9 on State Street. Tickets cost $15.
• The Holiday Cookie Run takes place Dec. 14 at Fleet Feet. Free to participate.
• The newly renamed Christmas Bar Crawl starts at Red Rock Saloon on Dec. 16. Tickets cost $20.
• Run, Santa, Run 5K takes place Dec. 16 on the Capitol Square. Fee is $25-$50.

Other Holiday Events

• The Holiday Fantasy in Lights runs Nov. 11-Dec. 31 at Olin Park. Admission is free.
• Zoo Lights is held Nov. 24-Dec. 30 (Fridays-Sundays) at Henry Vilas Zoo. Tickets cost $10.
• Winter Wonderland in the Village took place Dec. 2 in McFarland. Free to attend.
• The Fair Trade Holiday Festival took place Dec. 2 at Monona Terrace. Free to attend.
• The HolidayFest Arts & Crafts Fair took place Dec. 2 at Warner Park Community Recreation Center. Entry fee is $1.
• Holiday Express runs Dec. 2-31 at Olbrich Gardens. Tickets are $5-$8.
• Flixmas with the movie “Elf” showing on Dec. 19 and Flix Brewhouse. Tickets are $10.
• A Holiday Cheers and Beers indoor market takes place Dec. 10 at Lake Louie Brewing Co. Free to attend.
