I’m always on the lookout for fun, new snacks, which is why I happily accepted an offer to try Mary’s Gone Kookies.
These graham-style snacks were launched last year by Mary’s Gone Crackers, the leader in organic, gluten-free, non-GMO crackers.
“We are excited to expand our portfolio and provide consumers with a delicious, better-for-you snack that satisfies their sweet cravings,” Mary’s Gone Crackers VP of Sales Jason Galante said in a statement. “They will have your tastebuds dancing–you won’t believe they are gluten-free.”
Despite being relatively low in sugar (5 g. per serving), I found the Kookies ($4.99 for a 5 oz. box) to be sweet, flavorful and satisfying.
- The honey version was surprisingly savory with a kiss of honey to it.
- I liked the cinnamon for its slight resemblance in taste to gingerbread.
- The chocolate Kookie is described as “classically chewy brownie richness,” and I agree.
All of Mary’s Gone Crackers’ offerings are made in its USDA Organic, non-GMO Project Verified facility. Other products in the lineup include Cheezee crackers and Real Thin crackers.
You can purchase Mary’s Gone Kookies online on its website as well as at stores such as Target and Walmart.
