Essential Elements

Essential Elements gummiesI have to admit that I’m a fan of supplements, so I happily accepted an offer to try a few from Essential Elements.

The company focuses on not using harmful additives, fillers or unnatural ingredients in their products. Of note, Essential Elements is partnering with Water.org in that every purchase provides one individual with clean and safe water for a year.

Here’s the lineup I tried:

The Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies ($24.99 for a bottle of 60) are derived from “The Mother” of apple cider vinegar, which contains beneficial proteins, enzymes and beneficial bacteria. They support an already-healthy immune response and help reduce overeating. I liked the red apple flavor, which mostly neutralizes the vinegar, and definitely see these gummies as easy to take every day.

Essential Elements pre-workoutI use other pre-workout drinks, so I was excited to try the PreWorkout with Beet & ACV ($39.99 for a jar with 30 servings). It’s made from beet, apple cider vinegar, electrolytes, important nutrients and a special caffeine blend, all of which can help energy flow more easily through the body, reduce fatigue and increase stamina during a workout. After mixing the powder with 10 oz. of water to dull the beet flavor, I did feel more energetic without being jittery.

During or after your workout, rehydrate with the Hydration sticks ($32.99 for a pack of 24). The blue raspberry lemonade, watermelon-cucumber and yuzu-lime flavors are all true to their name, and I made them sweeter by using only 12 oz. of water instead of mixing them with the recommended 16-20 oz. My favorite feature of Hydration is that you get the electrolytes but no sugar, so each serving is only 10-15 calories.

Essential Elements also makes products that support healthy hair, weight management and the vascular system.

You can purchase Essential Elements products on their website.
