I couldn’t wait to try Leinenkugel’s newly relaunched Sunshine Light Lager after accepting an offer to review it.
I’m a big lager fan, and this one did not disappoint. Sunshine Light Lager, formerly the Session Helles light lager, is light but not too light in taste, and it has an ABV of 3.4% and only 99 calories. It’s super easy and refreshing to drink, making me long for those hot summer days.
With a crisp finish and the right amount of bitterness, Sunshine Light Lager is a good choice if you’re looking for a step up from Miller Lite.
“Leinenkugel’s Sunshine Light Lager is … lighter than most Helles-style beers, and its new look really showcases the type of occasion it’s perfect for,” Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Co. Associate Marketing Manager Crystal Hubert said in a blog post. “We’re excited to get Sunshine Light Lager … on shelves, delivering the flavorful styles Leinenkugel’s is known for.”
Leinenkugel Sunshine Light Lager is available now through September.
