Ghost kitchens tend to focus on wings, pizza and/or hamburgers. In the case of Buffalo Wild Wings, it’s easy to tell by the name: Wild Burger.
As I mentioned before in other reviews, I love smashed patties, and they’re in all the burgers at Wild Burger. The double burger ($9.99) and All-American cheeseburger ($9.99) were quite enjoyable (also worth noting: they are the exact same burger). They had just the right amount of grease and a tasty challah bun to hold it all together.
The bacon smashed hatch chile burger ($11.99) was a pleasant surprise. The grilled onions and chile peppers were tender, and the hatch chili aioli had a nice kick to it. I also really enjoyed the wild chicken sandwich ($9.99). The chicken was different from what you find on the Buffalo Wild Wings menu, as it was plump, juicy, crispy and seasoned to taste like KFC.
I was looking forward to the smoked brisket burger ($12.99) but instead received a second All-American cheeseburger. I hate when it when the restaurant screws up the order, which happens quite often. You’ll also find a grilled chicken sandwich ($13.99) and a black bean burger ($10.49) on the menu.
One other item I tried was the fried pickles ($7.49). They had the right amount of saltiness, and the pickles maintained their crunch inside the breading. I would have preferred if they could have been deep-fried 1-2 more min. to make the breading crispier, but I still liked them.
You can order from Wild Burger every day for lunch and dinner through DoorDash, UberEats and GrubHub.
