RancH20 Spirits

RancH20I haven’t been impressed with any of the current canned cocktails on the market–that is, until I tried RancH20 Spirits, which I’m glad I accepted an offer to review.

The cocktails are served in 12-oz. cans (4-pack for $12.99) and are made with real liquor. They have 6.5% to 7.0% ABV and 150 calories per can.

I found all four flavors to be a fizzy delight.

  • The Vodka Soda with Cranberry is exactly as the name describes. The hint of cranberry made the vodka soda quite enjoyable without being too sweet or too tart.
  • The Gin Fizz is refreshing. I appreciate that it doesn’t have any of the pine needle taste.
  • The Classic Margarita is basically a carbonated margarita, and I loved it. The level of lime flavor is perfect.
  • The Ranch Water was good, and while it is not as flavorful as the other three, it matches how an actual ranch water cocktail (the “Unofficial Cocktail of West Texas”) tastes. With tequila and lime, it’s essentially a less sweet version of the margarita.

Dallas-based RancH20, pronounced Ranch Two Oh, was founded in 2020 by Amelia Lettieri, who said, “I created RancH2O to provide a real cocktail experience in a convenient package without any question marks. No hidden agenda. Just a lot of refreshment with a bit of Texas sincerity.”

Note: RancH20 Spirits are not yet available in Wisconsin stores, but the cocktails will roll out nationwide.
