I actually eat StarKist tuna pouches for lunch on a regular basis, which is why I happily accepted an offer to try its new Chicken Creations Classic BBQ flavor.
Each pouch contains premium white meat chicken tallying 90 calories, 11 g. of protein and 3 g. of carbs. In this day and age, I also should mention they are keto-friendly.
I did like the BBQ chicken. The sauce is not too sweet and has a bit of smokiness to it. If you’re in a pinch for time or on the road, you can add the chicken to some bread or a tortilla for a quick-and-easy meal.
Overall, StarKist has more than 20 flavors, including spicy Korean and mango chipotle, of its chicken, salmon and tuna pouches.
Here’s a recipe from StarKist for BBQ chicken pizza.
