From food to crafts to music and now … beer.
Ignite Madison’s next event, taking place 8-10 p.m. May 6 at High Noon Saloon, is themed “Life with Beer” and is a part of Madison Craft Beer Week.
Per procedure, 10 guest speakers–including Colleen Bos of Bos Meadery, Joe Walts of Ale Asylum and Krystina Engebos of Titletown Brewing Co.–will each have five minutes and 20 slides to talk about beer.
Tickets are $9 in advance and $14 at the door. All proceeds go to the River Alliance of Wisconsin.
According to Ignite Madison Co-Founder Jocelyn Vande Velde, the idea for the event came through a suggestion, and details were hashed out with the Craft Beer Week founders over beers.
“Since we started Ignite Madison, we’ve been so fortunate to feature many great storytellers,” Vande Velde said. “‘Life with Beer’ is sure to be no different as we feature folks from entrepreneurs to enthusiasts of all things beer. Our Wisconsin brethren are sure to love it!”
The evening also includes a raffle and a party with DJ Mike Carlson.
