Just a good old fashioned wisco bar with no frills and GREAT BURGERS!! Can not beat the burgers for the price anywhere. Also the bloody mary's there are fantastic. This is a great place to go when you need a quick, cheap great burger and bloody to nurse your hangover :)

They get my vote for Best Burgers in Town because they (the burgers) remind me of backyard parties, Fourth of July and tailgating all at the same time. The perfect Saturday for me: burgers, beers and buddies at the Village Green — with extra every thing.

The burgers at Village Green beat the competition and for several reasons. Let's face it, burgers are best served with sides, the most important of which is a side of great atmosphere. Village Green welcomes you with an ol' green chalkboard of daily specials and the feel of grandma's basement. Whether you pack into a booth or cozy up to the bar, you feel at home. Cooked with real butter (or maybe even lard) on the old fashioned griddle, the burgers are served either on plate or plain wax paper. The burger needs nothing more than a pickle slice as garnish--anything else would be offensive! The meat is fresh and thick and seasoned just right. Sure the fries are great; but their sweet potato fries are the best in town. I never miss out on those. And the price is outrageously reasonable. This gets my vote for best burger! Out of town guests of mine request to go there. We play cards and eat burgers to our heart's content. Trust me, it's love at first bite.
